Blue Skies = Bad for Photography

Blue skies are usually pretty bad for photography. Great for life! Bad for photography. So, I headed to the capitol building in town. I love capitol buildings in the US. In fact, they're one of my favourite things to photograph. But, I got bland, cloud-less skies again at sunrise. Still, I think I made it work and got some cool images. Mid-day, through the blue skies, we continued driving Route 66 across Illinois and into St. Louis, Missouri. Again, I headed out for some photography. This time, I went to the arch in St. Louis. It's such an iconic location. And, despite the blue skies, I did manage to get a couple shots I liked. Tomorrow, the vlog pushes down Route 66 a bit more.
