AUTHENTIC TURKISH CHICKEN | how to make best easy chicken dish | Chicken recepie |Twins Kitchen By AF #TwinsKitchenByAF #HappyCookingtoYou #TraditionalChickenDishes #viral #ChickenRecipe #ChickenAppetizers #TurkishCuisineChicken #lunchRecipes #DinnerRecipe #Breakfast RECIPE Ingredients For chicken Marination: 1/2 Kg Chicken breasts or thighs, cut into cubes 1 Tbsp Cooking Oil 1/2 cup Yogurt 1 Tbsp Chilli Sauce 1 Tbsp Garlic paste 1 Tsp Paprika powder 1 TSP Cumin powder 1/2 Tsp black pepper 2 Tbsp Tomato Paste 1/2 Tsp Salt or to Taste 1 Tsp Red Chilli powder Ingrediants for White Sauce: 2 tablespoons butter 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour 2 cups milk 1/2 teaspoon Salt or to taste 1/2 teaspoon pepper 1/4 teaspoon dried thyeme leaves 1/3 cup cheese (mozzarella and cheddar) STEP-1 Instruction to Cook and Marinate Chicken 1.Chicken Marinate: -In a bowl, add mix red chilli powder, yogurt, chilli sauce, garlic paste, paprika, cumin, salt, tomato paste and pepper to create a marinade. -Add the chicken cubes to the marinade, ensuring they are well-coated. Cover the bowl and let it marinate for at least 1-2 hours in the refrigerator. 2.Cook Chicken: -Add oil in frypan -Add marinated chicken into oil and cook for 5 to 7 minute on medium to high flame. STEP-2: Instructions to Make White Sauce 1.Melt the Butter: -In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. 2.Add Flour: -Once the butter is melted, add the all-purpose flour. Stir continuously to form a smooth paste, and cook for a minute or two. This mixture is called a roux. 3.Gradually Add Milk: -Gradually pour in the milk while stirring constantly to avoid lumps. Continue to stir until the mixture thickens. 4.Season: -Add salt, dried thyeme leaves, cheese and pepper Continue stirring until the sauce reaches the desired consistency. 5.Simmer: -Allow the sauce to simmer for a few minutes to ensure that the flour is fully cooked. The sauce should coat the back of a spoon. 6.Tip (Adjust Consistency): -If the sauce is too thick, you can add more milk to reach the desired consistency. If it's too thin, you can simmer it for a bit longer. STEP-3 Preheat Oven: -Preheat the oven for 15 minutes at 150 C STEP-4 Assemble the Chicken: -Pour White sauce over the chicken and then spread cheese on the top. -Sprinkle some dried oregano, dried theme leaves and chilli flakes. STEP-5 -Place the chicken in preheated oven for 10-15 minutes Serve -Serve the Turkish chicken with rice, pitta bread, or flatbread. You can also garnish with lemon wedges and fresh herbs.
