एदेनको बगैंचामा हव्वालाई प्रलोभन दिन शैतानले प्रयोग गरेको उही चाल शरीरको आभिलाशा, आँखाको आभिलाशा र जीवनको घमण्ड। हामी सबै प्रलोभनको सामना गर्छौं किनभने हामी पतित संसारमा बाँचिरहेका छौं। यो जीवनको एक भाग हो जुन सबैले गुजर्छन्। बाइबलले हामीलाई प्रलोभनहरू र तिनीहरूसँग कसरी व्यवहार गर्ने बारे सिकाउँछ। मत्ती ४ हेर्नुहोस्। येशू हामी जस्तै प्रलोभित हुनुभयो र यसले हामीलाई येशूले ती सबैलाई कसरी पार गर्नुभयो भन्ने कुरा बताउँछ। यहाँ ३ प्रलोभनहरू छन् जुन येशूले पार गर्नुभयो। १. मत्ती ४:३। शैतानले उहाँलाई ढुङ्गालाई रोटी बनाउन भन्यो। येशूले जवाफ दिनुभयो, मानिस रोटीबाट मात्र बाँच्दैन, तर परमेश्वरको मुखबाट निस्कने हरेक वचनबाट बाँच्दछ। २. मत्ती ४:६। शैतानले उहाँलाई कूद्न भन्यो किनभने देवदूतहरूले उहाँलाई बचाउनुहुनेछ। येशूले जवाफ दिनुभयो, तपाईंले आफ्नो परमेश्वर प्रभुलाई परीक्षा गर्नुहुन्न। ३. मत्ती ४:९ शैतानले येशूलाई भने कि यदि उहाँले उसलाई नमस्कार गर्नुभयो र आराधना गर्नुभयो भने उसले संसारको सबै महिमा दिनेछ। येशूले पर्याप्त भइसकेको थियो र शैतानलाई किटान गर्नुभयो। ती तीनै घटनाहरूमा, येशूले शास्त्रको उद्धरण गर्नुभयो। यो लेखिएको छ। त्यसैले तपाईंको हृदयमा शास्त्र राख्नु महत्वपूर्ण छ। हामीले मसीहमा को हौं भन्ने कुरा जान्नुपर्छ। हामीले उहाँले हाम्रो लागि गर्नुभएका प्रतिज्ञाहरू के हुन् भन्ने कुरा जान्नुपर्छ। The same trick the devil used to tempt Eve in the Garden of Eden Genesis 3. Here are 3 temptations Jesus overcame. 1. Matthew 4:3. Satan told him to turn the stone into bread. Jesus replied, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God. 2. Mathew 4:6. Satan told him to jump off because the angels would protect him. Jesus replied, donot tempt the Lord your God. 3. Matthew 4:9 told Jesus that he would give all the glory of the world if Jesus would bow down and worship him. Jesus had enough and rebuked the devil. In all three incidents, Jesus quoted scripture. It is written. That's why keeping the scriptures in your heart is critical. We must know who we are in Christ. We need to know what is his promises for us.
