It is human power management, or the ability to use the human body to its maximum potential, which makes this bike great, unique, and efficient. To depict this concept, to start the motion of the bicycle, the foot- and hand-crank combination efficiently work together to gain momentum. One of the most important aspects of the Velocipede Power Speed Bike is that, in comparison with a regular bike whose rider's arms often feel stiff after a long period of riding, the continuous hand movements of the Velocipede Power Speed Bike allow its rider to excercise their arms at the same time as their feet while riding. Another important aspect of this bike in comparison with a regular bike is that it does not depend solely on the foot-crank to propel the bike forward. This is because the hand- and foot-cranking combination gives the bike extra power and speed, allowing for the hand-crank to compensate for the time vacancy in the foot-crank. This video demonstrates the dynamics of the bike in using the foot cranks alone, the hand cranks alone, and the combination of the foot- and hand-cranks together.
