Hope Y'all are having an AWESOME DAY! I did little night fishing for some crappies. A random night since Arkabutla Dam was closed for a few months due to inspection. But I got a chance to go out and fish for some crappies, these are some GIANT Arkabutla crappies. I usually fish around night time because the fact a lot of people is usually there in the morning. So the technique really is snagging/slapping. As you probably have seen in the video snagging here is legal during this time. As long the hooks are not treble hooks. Long poles are perfect to have because the crappies are really not that far out to catch. During cold weather and with the temperature dropping this is perfect.
