Colours: Blue. Geoffrey's painting the spare room, but Bungle doesn't like the colour he's chosen. What else can you think of that's also blue? How about bluebells, bluebottles, blue skies, or little blue men in blue flying saucers? I believe this episode was originally broadcast on Friday, 12th August, 1983, meaning that the main target audience is, was, and always will be those born in the 70s or very early 80s. Rod, Jane and Freddy give us two songs in this one - first, they open with Little Boy Blue, and later they sing while flying a plane. I enjoyed the story about the alien, and also the added bonus of George interrupting it early thinking it was finished. Can't be easy when you wear shoes very obviously several sizes too small. I couldn't help but giggle at Zippy's unnecessary "Hello, sailor!", but overall this is a really lovely episode. Grateful thanks to Lee for providing this recording.
