Season 3: Episode 2 Follow the guys south of the boarder as they travel into Baja California, Mexico to fish the Sea of Cortez with good friend Joel Prieto at Joel Sportfishing. The Yellowtail and Cabrilla fishing is phenomenal, maybe even better than the tacos. The guys get into some deep water yellowtail on dropper looped mackerel and try their hand at speed jigging. The real prize however, is an absolutely wide open Cabrilla bite in the shallows. Also known as Lepard Grouper, these fish might not get as big as some of the other Grouper species, but they hit like a freight train and pull just as hard. They were willing to eat just about any bait the guys threw, the bigger the better. Remember to practice catch and release when traveling to these locations. Protect the resource!
