FMX2023 Technical Directing and ICVFX Presentations
At FMX – Film and Media Exchange 2023, students of the Filmakademie Baden-Wuerttemberg and its Animationsinstitut shared insights into their latest projects with the international audience. In this presentation, Technical Directing student Paul Golter gives insights into his work on the diploma project UNDER WATER (working title). Further, he talks about his own research project at the Animationsinstitut: an asset encoding and transformation framework. At FMX – Film and Media Exchange 2023, students of the Filmakademie Baden-Wuerttemberg and its Animationsinstitut shared insights into their latest projects with the international audience. In this presentation, the team behind THE INFINITE BREAKROOM talks about the production process of their VFX short film. THE INFINITE BREAKROOM was created within the so-called Set Extension Workshop (SEW) where students from various departments of the Filmakademie come together to produce one VFX short. The team shot their film with a LED wall; a technology that has been used in the SEW for several years already. At FMX – Film and Media Exchange 2023, students of the Filmakademie Baden-Wuerttemberg and its Animationsinstitut shared insights into their latest projects with the international audience. In this presentation, the team behind KAGE talks about the production process of their VFX short film. KAGE tells the story of a samurai fighting his own shadow. Will he persevere?
