Seattle police chief addresses recent violence; shares year-end crime data

After six people were shot over the weekend, Seattle police Chief Shon Barnes addressed recent acts of violence and shared an update on the department's 2025 year-end data for recruitment and crime trends. On Friday, two Rainier Beach High School students were shot and killed at a bus stop on South Henderson Street.
