Actor Sooraj Pancholi, accused of abetting the suicide of his then-girlfriend based on her handwritten note, has been acquitted. "Due to paucity of evidence, this court can't hold you (Sooraj Pancholi) guilty, hence acquitted," said Judge AS Sayyed. Bollywood actress Jiah Khan died by suicide on June 3, 2013. She was just 25 when she took the extreme step and her tragic death sent shock waves across the country.
