**PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT THIS DISCUSSION INCLUDES MENTION OF SUICIDE** In this deeply emotional and urgent discussion, we honor the life and legacy of Dr. Antoinette “Bonnie” Candia-Bailey, a dedicated educator, mentor, and leader whose life was tragically cut short due to Dr. Candia-Bailey's accounts of experiencing workplace bullying. Joined by Ms. Crystal Jackson, Dr. Candia-Bailey’s AKA Sorority Line Sister & Friend, we delve into Dr. Candia-Bailey's remarkable journey, humanizing the woman behind the headlines and shedding light on the systemic issues that contributed to her untimely death. We explore the timeline of events leading up to January 8, 2024, on the campus of Lincoln University, where Bonnie’s story took a heartbreaking turn. From there, we discuss the relentless fight for justice, including the call for an independent investigation into Lincoln University’s practices and the push to pass the Workplace Psychological Safety Act—a critical step toward protecting employees from toxic workplace environments. This conversation is more than just a recounting of events; it’s a rallying cry for accountability, awareness, and action. Together, we aim to amplify Bonnie’s story, hold institutions accountable, and create safer, healthier workspaces for Black Women and all individuals. Tune in to join the fight for justice, hear Bonnie’s story, and learn how you can help make workplaces places of dignity and safety—not harm. *If you and/or someone you know experiences suicidal thoughts, immediately go to the nearest hospital emergency room or call 911 and let them know that it is a mental health emergency.
