Using Big Questions in Content-based English Lessons

How can we connect students to social studies and science related content-based English (CBE) lessons? How can we make our lessons inquiry based? Using BIG QUESTIONS, we reinforce the unit theme and encourage personal connections with academic topics. A BIG QUESTION makes us curious, helps us achieve our objectives, and motivates us to find out more. For example: 'How do choices affect who you are?' does not have a simple answer. We need to approach this BIG QUESTION from different perspectives. Join us for a model lesson for B2 level upper primary students from our CBE program, Reach Higher, as we explore how our choices help define us and make a difference in the world.
