The death of her son has turned Freya vengeful, and with her returned vigor and strength she seeks to avenge her mad son by killing Kratos. Freya was a fascinating character in the last game, and I'm so excited to see where she goes in this new game. Her theme was a favorite from the last soundtrack, so I'm happy to see it return and with a much expected kick to it. It utilizes female vocals, aggressive and tribal percussion and woodwinds, and gives Freya's theme a grander and more involved presence in the action of the score. But even still, it retains the heart and mystery her theme once eluded, showing that at her core Freya is still a grieving, regretful, and loving mother who just wishes her son could be happy and alive. = edited/rearranged TRACKLIST: 0:00 To Forgive or to Kill 1:14 Vanaheim + To Forgive or to Kill 1:20 Vanaheim 8:08 Midgard + Vanaheim 8:13 Midgard 8:17 The Hidden Beast + Midgard 8:21 The Hidden Beast* 10:04 To Forgive or to Kill + The Hidden Beast 10:10 To Forgive or to Kill © 2022 Sony Interactive Entertainment America LLC , under exclusive license to Sony Music Entertainment #GodofWar #GodofWarRagnorök #PS5 Support Bear McCreary!
