Hello & welcome along to another mix. It's been almost three years since Kate last visited the Den, so this session was LONG overdue. We've been friends since the 90s & I know most of her family including her Brother Mike - who is a very skilful hip-hop DJ. We stared out by recording the inaugural episode of my new Den-Cast, which you can find by having a scout around on my channel here (if it's not immediately obvious then click the Podcast Tab). So we had a good catch-up prior to Kate putting together some of her favourite current records. As we discussed, genre categories & classifications aren't a strong point for either of us. So we settled on Prog // Melodic // Tech as being close enough. We had a great few hours together & I'd like to thank Kate for coming over & being such excellent company. Her mix is quality & there are some real ear-worms in there across an impressive range of genres (& eras) which has become Kate's signature style.
