The Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG '10 is a car manufactured by Mercedes-Benz. It appears in Gran Turismo 5 (also on the cover), Gran Turismo 6, Gran Turismo Sport, and Gran Turismo 7. It is known for its trademark "gull-wing" door design. Designed as the revival of the 300 SL, it was unveiled at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show. Sales began in mid-2010 in Europe and in the United States in mid-2011. Additionally, it was also used as the safety car for Formula One from 2010 to 2014. The driveshaft and torque tube are made of carbon fiber. The driving modes can be set to "Comfort", "Sports", "Sports Plus", "Manual", and "Launch Start". Manufacturer specs boast 0-62 mph acceleration in 3.8 seconds, with a maximum speed of 197 mph.
