New Queen Might Have Some Competition

The Queen I introduced a week ago is out and looking for cells to lay eggs... unfortunately the cells were back-filled with nectar. I gave that hive a brand new box and pyramided the frames. Also, while the queen was in her cage, apparently the bees decided to cap a queen cell. So that's interesting. Italian Hive is progressing perfectly and looking great. They should be exploding very soon. New box added with 10 (pulled-comb) frames. Russian Hive Left is already exploding. I was thinking about putting on the Flow Frames, but I decided to add a third brood box with hopes of them pulling new comb. I need new comb to rotate out the crappy comb that came in the nucs. Any new brood will also help build up Russian Hive Right. I'm going to spend July trying to encourage these bees to BUILD BUILD BUILD!
