Filmed May 17th, 2022, with Sony HDR-CX405 camcorder. Was in the area that day, so I decided film this little pedestrain railroad crossing on Foster Avenue. I've actually been wanting to film this crossing for a while now. Crossing info: Crossing is owned and maintained by Metrolink (SCAX). This crossing is a horn zone. Crossing is on the Metrolink: San Gabriel Subdivision (San Bernardino Line). Signal on the right: 1 pair of 12x24" Safetran/Hawker Siddely lights with Dialight Ball LEDs, Safetran base, and a WCH type 4 electronic bell. Signal on the left: 1 pair of 12x24" Safetran/Hawker Siddely lights with Dialight Ball LEDs, Safetran base, and a WCH type 4 electronic bell. Locomotives: SCAX 933 - EMD F125 - K2HA. SCAX 677 - Hyundai Rotem cabcar. This crossing is a neat one. Simply a crossing that's for the neighborhood here. This crossing appears it was installed in early 1990s by Metrolink when they first bought out this once abandoned SP Baldwin Park branchline. Very little changes occurred here, the signals were originally installed with 12x24" Safetran incandescent lights and Safetran mechanical bells. By 2006, the Safetran incandescent lights were retrofitted with the current Dialight Ball LEDs. And by mid-2021 and 2022, the original Safetran mechanical bells were replaced with the current WCH electronic bells, which was a little disappointing because I was trying to get this crossing a while now, and I'm sure the neighborhood didn't mind the mechanical bells here. if you enjoy this video, check out my other media platforms for more content: https://linktr.ee/SASubRailfan
