Sight Reading Series Introduction

Here is the introductory video for a series of sight-reading videos I will be posting from time to time. The solos are played first with a click track and then without. No repeats are observed. These etudes are from several different books I use with my students to improve their sight-reading abilities. The material in these episodes will be taken from the following four books. 1. Musical Studies for the Intermediate Snare Drummer by Garwood Whaley 2. Recital Solos for Snare Drum by Garwood Whaley 3. Contemporary Studies for Snare Drum by Fred Albright 4, Polyrhythmic Studies for Snare Drum by Fred Albright ( this book was originally titled Rhythmic Analysis I highly recommend purchasing these books as reading them on the screen can be fatiguing for your eyes. You can slow these recordings down in the settings if you need to do that.
