Saju John Mathew from City Harvest AG Church unfolds the truth about the God who creates, confronts chaos, speaks light into darkness, and separates with purpose. 🔹 Key Highlights: God is active, not passive (1 Kings 18:27, Psalm 121:4–5) He confronts chaos and brings order (Genesis 1:2, Isaiah 45:18) God speaks light into darkness bringing clarity, vision, and life (Genesis 1:3, John 1:5) He separates light from darkness, calling His people to live holy and distinct lives (Genesis 1:4–5, 2 Corinthians 6:14–18) This message reminds us that God is a God of purpose and order. Are there compromises where light and darkness have mixed? Invite God to create, speak, and separate in your heart today. Sermon Outline: The God Who Creates and the God Who Separates Genesis 1:1–5 | Evg. Saju John Mathew I. The God Who Creates (Genesis 1:1) In the beginning—God! God is an active God: He is not passive, not indifferent, and certainly not asleep. 1 Kings 18:27, Psalm 121:4–5 II. The God Who Confronts Chaos (Genesis 1:2) Would God create something void? No! Isaiah 45:18 – God did not create the earth to be empty, but to be inhabited. III. The God Who Speaks Light into Darkness (Genesis 1:3) Light brings clarity, vision, life, and transformation. Where there is light, darkness must flee. John 1:5 – “The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.” IV . The God Who Separates (Genesis 1:4–5) This is not a blending of opposites, but a clear distinction. 1 Thessalonians 5:5 2 Corinthians 6:14–18 As children of light, we are called to live distinct lives. God has called us out of darkness—do not go back. Maintain spiritual boundaries. Do not unite what God has separated. God creates, God confronts, God speaks, and God separates—He is a God of purpose and order. His actions in creation reflect His ongoing work in our lives. He creates us anew (2 Cor. 5:17), Confronts our chaos, Speaks light into our darkness, Calls us to live separated, holy lives. Are there dark areas in your life that need the light of God’s Word? Are there compromises where light and darkness are mixing? Invite God to hover over your heart today, to create, to speak, and to separate. #Genesis #Creation #GodsWord #LightInDarkness #CityHarvestAG #BibleSermon #ChristianFaith #JesusChrist #HolyLiving #GodOfOrder #SajuJohnMathew The God Who Creates and Separates | Genesis 1:1–5 | Evg.
