Just Arrived: A Huge Vinyl Collection of Over 1,500 Disco/Soul/Funk/New Wave Dance Extended-Play 12” Singles and LPs! We have been on an especially strong buying streak over the last few months. So busy, in fact, that we haven’t had the time (or space) to separate out specific collections as they come in and write you folks about them. However, we have just purchased a whopper of over 1,500 pieces that we have had a lot of fun with and thought we’d highight today. This collection features mostly dance music from the 80’s be it Disco, Funk, Soul, New Wave, or even some classic rock artists who caught the craze, Rolling Stones, etc. In those days, the 12” extended-play singles were the rage, and this collection includes hundreds prime examples of those on labels such as Prelude, T.K. Disco, Streetwise, Salsoul, West End, Casablanca and others. Along with the 12”s are hundreds of LPs in similar style from the era. The vinyl is in, somewhat surprisingly, excellent condition (we often see D.J. collections of this type of music that are trashed), and the prices are mostly low. Hundreds of these are at $1.00 each, and the majority of the rest are $1.99 to $9.99, with just a handful of rarities higher. The collection is out now, near the soul section.
