To my fellow Wing Chun community — let’s keep it real and keep it honest. If you haven’t trained with me, haven’t felt what I teach, and haven’t experienced my method firsthand, then speaking on it is just noise. What I teach is not Jeet Kune Do, and it’s not some passive, sit-back “internal energy only” interpretation of Wing Chun. Yes, flow, energy, and internal mechanics exist — but they are components, not the whole identity. My system is not pigeonholed, romanticized, or turned into performance art. It is structured, functional, and built for one purpose: real-world combat and decisive protection when life or family is on the line. Too many people are trapped in lineage debates, titles, and self-proclaimed authority while missing the living architecture of Wing Chun itself. The art was born from necessity, adaptation, and survival — not politics, not ego, and not tradition worship. What I teach may look unorthodox to those who only see the surface, but beneath it is pure structure, efficiency, and intent. Wing Chun is not meant to be preserved in glass — it’s meant to be alive, tested, and expressed through function. Respect the art enough to understand it before judging it.
