This is what happens to Black patients at Tulane Medical Center, when seen by Dr. Chrissy Guidry. They get racist, dehumanizing treatment. This is one reason why Black people are dying at higher rates than others. Doctors do not listen to their Black patients. And, they treat Black patients with disrespect and dismissiveness. https://tulanehealthcare.com/…/Dr-Chris… Just a little context: I had a scheduled appointment as directed by physicians in that surgery clinic for follow-up treatment from the remains of the surgical mishap. In advance of this appointment, I had a CT Scan a few days before about which I was supposed to get the results at this appointment. Dr. Guidry was the person with whom I was scheduled to meet to find out the results and get a plan for ongoing treatment. Prior to her appearing in the room on this video, I had not spoken to her at all that day. She knows me as a patient because she was responsible for my care and admitted me to the ICU when I returned to the hospital with internal bleeding following my surgery last Spring. I have had no interaction with her specifically since being hospitalized prior to her coming in the room on this video. #MedicalRacism #Tulane #HCAHealthcare
