12-03-1992. Good performance at a tough venue, they caught the Rox early. That was just before they started to gel into the team that would eventually win two times (sans Mike, of course, but still). Judging by games I've seen of Hakeem from 89-92, I think he was a totally different player than he was from 92/3 to 95. I don't give a SHIT if the stats are similar. He was a dominant force in the middle during his peak. I have many a game, and even playoff gms since LAL and HOU played in the 90 and 91 Playoffs, where he didn't impact the game in the post like he did in the coming years. He would let Vlade more or less even him out. By the time LA faced them in 96, he made a fool of Vlade and had him turning in 3 directions before scoring on him most of the time.
