Yokomo YD-2 E-Plus Shakedown Out Of Box

The update to the original YD-2 Plus version released in 2016, the "E-Plus" version has seen a few revisions, this being the final one before its retirement. I purchased the original YD-2 Plus version so this car feels a lot like that original release in many ways but with updated out of box settings. The car drifts nicely out of the box and does not require much effort to get sideways. There are many ways you can go with this platform in terms of upgrades. Some of the drivers at my local track are still running their E-Plus chassis or some slightly upgraded variant of it and are happy with it. Yokomo also took this platform and created other sub versions such as the "R-Plus", a rear motored version with the same layout can configuration except for rear facing 3 gear transmission. I have also setup a few E-Plus chassis in the past as rental cars which served me very well. I can recommend this chassis to anyone. This car has been discontinued but you can find examples on the used market.
