Burgundy Basics - Premier Cru Vineyards of Gevrey Chambertin
I am doing this video as I was recently invited as a guest to a Chevaliers du Tastevin event which featured wines from 1er Cru vineyards in Gevrey Chambertin. Being that I did not embarrass myself in front of my friend, I did a bit of research on the region as I don't really drink that much Gevrey Chambertin. So since I did the research anyways, I thought I would share what I learned and some wine notes from that night. There are 26 premier cru sites in Gevrey Chambertin. One of the best resources for Burgundy online is the Vins de Bourgogne website.
