At any given time, Mount Lemmon is 15-30 degrees cooler than the city of Tucson, as the elevation is over 6000 feet higher! The drive up the windy Mount Lemmon Highway Road is breathtaking, with many pull-offs for city views. Tucson residents and visitors love escaping up the Mount Lemmon Highway to enjoy hiking, camping, cycling, fishing, "glamping" in a beautiful cabin rental, and even skiing! Don't forget to visit one of several shops and restaurants in Summerhaven at the top of the mountain! And don't forget to take a ride on the ski lift to check out some beautiful views!
