Just a video of a solo completion of the Grandmaster Nightfall The Ordeal this week in Heist Battleground Mars. Details below. 00:00 - Run 23:42 - Build 10/10 build for fun, maybe 7/10 for effectiveness though. It's great at almost everything except for single target damage, which showed on the final boss and the big Hive boss in the beginning section. The rest of the time it's just non-stop ability spam, and combined with Salvation's Grip it's a very satisfying play loop. I think there's much better options if you wanted a bit more single target damage, but this builds off the previous season where I used a similar setup with Salvation's with Ascension to be similar to shatterdiving, and it's just a lot of fun. The other major downside to Salvation's Grip is that if you don't fully charge the shot, it'll one hit you. Which with the way you use this build is a bit of a problem. I went with no cheese this time just to avoid people complaining about it. It doesn't really change things much, nor make it more difficult, it just slows down the beginning by a good few minutes. The final boss was also very annoying with it constantly teleporting away, wasted a lot of time on that alone. I think it just doesn't like the stasis crystals and teleports away when stuck behind them, which is kind of the whole point of the build, so it ruins things a lot there. Overall a lot of fun though. Tomorrow's build will be in the opposite direction, full cheese and easy mode to round out the 3 classes. Lastly, I put the build at the end of the video as it was annoying having Drifter talking over the beginning.
