THIS RARE FILM IS FOR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES. Feral cat was shot while hunting raiding a chook house. Demonstrates the effect of hydrostatic shock even from the lowly rimfire. Cat appeared while setting up a high speed camera for capturing bullet flight, swinging the camera and rifle around captured this rare footage. Cat had been taking chickens and ducks from where is was shot over the previous few weeks. The laser sight is useless for hunting and is only used to aid in aiming for high speed film. Filmed: Australia, 2008. Rifle: Anschutz .22 Cartridge: Winchester Power Point Filmed at 600fps, replayed at 30fps and 15fps (1/20th and 1/40th speed). All sounds are artificial, high speed cameras do not record sound.
