I had my eyes on Weber's Summit Charcoal Grill since it hit the market in 2016 but the high price when compared to other Kamado-style grills gave me pause. In November 2020, Weber released version 2.0 of the grill called the Summit Kamado E6 Charcoal Grill at a significantly lower price than the original. The lower price came with the removal or revision of some items from the original which has caused some of the early adopters to call the overall build quality of Weber's new Kamado into question. Early reports of an unstable and wobbly stand had me questioning my decision to purchase the new grill. My grill arrived earlier this week and I eagerly and carefully put it together. Join me in this walkaround video and I will let you know whether I think the new stand is a serious issue and whether the overall build quality is suspect.
