The Queenstown neighborhood is one of the oldest suburbs in Georgetown which now finds itself in the heart of the city as the city grew and expanded all around. This is neighborhood is now one of the most expensive locations in the city because of its proximity to the city center. Thus recent and ongoing developments take the form of commercial property which is replacing what was once residential homes. This means that original Colonial wooden architecture is being replaced by concrete structures.
