USS Alabama Battleship Memorial Park, USS Drum, Birdwatching at Meaher State Park. Episode 9 Part 2.

Episode 9 Part 2 of our epic adventure, 4,000 miles from Texas to Florida 2024. No auto-dubbed languages are available for this video. In Episode 9 Part 2 I'm going to visit the USS Alabama Battleship Memorial Park in Mobile Alabama. The park is only 6 miles from Meaher State Park and makes for a perfect daytrip. Join me as I explore Battleship Alabama BB-60, a South Dakota-Class Battleship from WWII all the way to the depths of a 16 inch gun turret and barbette and the USS Drum SS-228, a Gato-Class Submarine from WWII. Both ships are well preserved and are well worth the visit. In the evening Delta and I are having a cookout while enjoying a great sunset from our campsite. On our last morning at the park we were able to do some birdwatching before heading to Florida.
