Edward Arnell Williams Jr. arrested for Myrtle Beach shooting on Ocean Boulevard

A man was arrested and charged in connection to a shooting incident that happened on Ocean Boulevard last weekend. Edward Arnell Williams Jr., 37, of Charlotte, North Carolina, is charged with attempted murder, discharging a firearm into an occupied motor vehicle and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime. Myrtle Beach Police Dept. in conjunction with Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department took Williams into custody. Williams was denied bond Thursday morning by a judge in Charlotte and is awaiting an extradition hearing at 9 a.m. Friday. MBPD is seeking additional traffic-related charges for the driver of the pick-up truck involved in the incident.
