Last & first Tyrefort Golf Society meeting Mar 25, Stratford Park GC

Hey everyone, Our society played the last and first meeting of our golfing calendar, the last meeting should have been played at The Chase GC in Oct last year, however, with the amount of rain we had during the tail end of last year, it was not possible, so we played Stratford Park GC on Saturday as our first meeting plus also to end last season to see you would win the shield/trophy. The day started off really well, weather wise, beautiful in the morning, the afternoon was a different story, very windy, the temperature dropped and it looked like rain but we managed to stay dry. I shot 32 points total, 15 on the front, 17 on the back, a few wasted chances on shots that I should have had no problems playing but that's golf for you lol. I came 5th on the day and 3rd for last season, I even walked away with a 3rd place trophy (trophy cabinet is getting pretty full now). There was also a winner of a £50 gift of their choice, who guessed correctly where it was that i finished on the day. There will be more prizes as the years goes on, although you still need to subscribe to the channel to have a chance of winning. Stay safe and take care everyone.
