Advanced Fuzzing Techniques: An eBTC Case Study

In this seminar, Antonio Viggiano presents on complex and advanced fuzzing mechanics with practical examples from a case study of applying an effective fuzzing setup on the eBTC Protocol. Antonio will explain how it was used to confirm vulnerabilities from manual security reviews, find novel vulnerabilities and better understand the system behavior under multiple scenarios. Antonio Viggiano is an independent security researcher who began working in crypto in 2017 as a co-founder of a cryptocurrency exchange. In 2021, he cofounded a web3 gaming company, and in 2022, he shifted his focus to blockchain security. Since then, he has specialized in property-based testing, pioneered a platform for fuzz testing, collaborated with leading protocols to enhance their test suites, and shared his insights at conferences and through research papers on the subject.
