I've literally been wanting to record this song since way back even before I was in high school! But I never had the confidence to give it a try, since I've always had a weak head voice and can't seem to get the power/resonance I need when singing high even though I'm a soprano. Since I basically have to retrain my voice anyway to prevent worsening my injury, I decided instead of running away and continuing to strain my chest voice, I'm going to work at strengthening my head voice! I wanted to start off by recording this song since it's very fun and challenging to sing~ At the moment I'm not really able to enunciate in my head voice though bahaha, so I subbed the video. I'm going to continue practicing, and I want to come back to this song and record a Japanese or French cover when my voice gets stronger~ But in all honesty, for now I'm really proud of how this turned out. It may not be perfect, but considering I didn't think I could do it at all I think it turned out well! I really wanted to do an English version of this song since I didn't see one done by anyone else. I love how Sound Horizon's songs always tell stories. This one honestly made me cry the first time I read the translation, and as much as it's twisted and difficult to translate, I wanted to give it a go.
