CROSSWIND Landings and Takeoffs During a CHINOOK at Calgary Airport!

Thanks to its proximity to the Rocky Mountains, Calgary gets a few warmer days during the winter with high winds coming in from the Pacific, warming as they descend over the eastern slopes, usually melting most of the snow on the ground - otherwise known as Chinooks! That leads to some interesting arrivals at Calgary International Airport, plus the use of its crosswind runways, 11/29 and 08/26. The latter is currently closed for aircraft storage, and 29 has some of the best angles of any runway at the airport. With winds from the west at 20 gusting to 30 knots, and runway 29's northwest orientation, it still leads to a noticeable crab angle on these arrivals and departures. This is a video I've been wanting to make for years, and I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out!
