Ti should always be seasoned before one dabs off it. To season a nail you simply wipe it down with rubbing alcohol to remove any residue, oils, etc. it may have from the factory. Then heat it till it's red hot all the way through at least once. Then when hot, drop some oil or reclaim (this is what bad oil is for) onto the titanium and let it smoke off. Repeat this a few times...it's best to do it 3-5. I should have done it once more as my first hit was still a little weird tasting, but the second was just right. These really give off a great flavor once they are seasoned correctly! If you've never tried this before, give it a go with your next new Ti nail. I utilize 1 can of high quality butane per oz of high quality trim/flower. Q. What tubes do you use? A. Extraction Experts XL Tubes. Good tubes, company always ships super slow though. I use 100 micron metal screens in conjunction with 25 micron pressing screens, as well as unbleached coffee filters at times although I much prefer pressing screens as they hold up better for longer.
