Recorded live in one take. _________________________ Shrae is a Singer/ Songwriter from Singapore, currently pursuing her Bachelor's of Contemporary Western Music from NMIMS School of Performing Arts, Mumbai. Having performed at many venues across India and Singapore, her art and passion for music has been heavily influenced by old school pop and blues. She currently obsessed over Artists like Cyrille Aimee, Tom Misch and Jorja Smith. Her current genres of interest are Jazz/ Rnb/ Retro and Pop but personal favourite always being jazz. Having written poetry since childhood, Shrae had a writers block for the longest time and ‘bout you” is the first song she wrote in 2020 based on a close and personal experience of something that made her extremely happy. What started off as a simple RnB arrangement went on to rearranging the song into Jazz Bossa Nova arrangement Compass Box Studios and she is extremely excited for it.
