On 15th October, I gave Qantas premium economy a try. I flew Qantas (QF) from Hong Kong (HKG) to Sydney (SYD). The operating aircraft was non-refurbished Boeing 747-400. The flight was excellent and the seat was very comfortable. Qantas premium economy is worth a go! Cathay Pacific flies four times a day (3x B777-300ER and 1x A330-300) and Qantas flies two days a day (1x A330-300 and 1x B747-400). As the demand on this route is high, Virgin Australia is planning to begin a daily service with their A330-200. Qantas occasionally use A330-200 and A380 on this route.
