When π Is NOT π?

We all know that the ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter is equal to π=3.14159... no matter the circle, but are there any kinds of places where this isn't true? It turns out that for different kinds of geometries, the value of π may be different. In this video, we change the geometry of the xy-plane by changing how we measure distance by using something called the L^p norms and it turns out that π takes on a whole bunch of different values for these norms.
