Hvar, Croatia absolutely charmed the socks off of me! Delightful little hole in the wall cafes and boutiques, a beautiful big church on the main square, gorgeous little boats bobbing in the harbor, and little fountains and flourishes in the Venetian style to let you know Venetians were here a few hundred years ago. The swimming off the coast of Hvar was the clearest I’ve ever experienced – you could actually see the shadow of the boat on the ocean floor. Absolutely astounding!
