Nariño is one of the 32 departments of Colombia and is located in the southwest of the country. Buesaco (https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Buesaco) is a municipality located in Nariño, it gets this name due to the ethnic group that lived in the territory before the arrival of the Spaniards who conquered the region. It is a town with a lot of history, there the battle of Juanambú (https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Batalla...) happened, which was part of the independence battle of Colombia. In Buesaco there is the Parque Cañon de Juanambú (https://siturnarino.com/atractivos-tu...) where visitors can still find bridges, trenches and refuge caves from the battle.
