“When I arrived in Leuven, I thought this building was Leuven city hall, but it turned out to be the library.” Carmen Willems, general manager at the Royal Museum of Fine Arts, says whilst looking back on her student days. She was recently back on familiar ground: her old Faculty of Economics and Business Administration. Why? To help the University blow out 600 candles. For a whole year, KU Leuven is treating itself to a festive menu full of exhibitions, lectures, heritage walks and so much more. The opening number? KU Leuven Inside.
