For more than a month, three Ukrainian soldiers hid in the basement of the residents of Pravdyne in the Kherson region, while the village was under Russian occupation. They got there during the first unsuccessful counteroffensive on August 29, 2022 and, with injuries, eventually found themselves surrounded by the enemy. When, in early October, the Russians ordered Sofia and Oleh Bilym, who were hiding soldiers in their basement, to move out of their house, the couple came up with a plan to get the soldiers out of the village past six roadblocks to the also occupied Bilozerka.
