Hello and welcome to Tech Tip Tuesday! For this video I will be showing you guys how you can take easier screenshots with your Apple and Samsung devices. Apple: 1) The traditional way to take screenshots on iOS are (if you have Face ID) the Volume Up and Side Key. If you have the Home Button, it will be the Home Button and Side Key (or Top Key if you have an older device). 2) Assistive Touch: Assistive touch is a really cool feature and works kind of like how the edge panel works on Samsung. It pulls up a little menu and if you go through it, there will be an option for screenshots. However, there's an even better way to use this for screenshots and that is by enabling the double tap feature, so you can double tap the floating button to take a screenshot. To enable Assistive touch, you go to your settings, then accessibility, then touch, then Assistive Touch. 3) Back Tap: This is my favorite way! It's really easy to set up and works like a charm. It allows you to tap the back of your phone to take a screen shot. A lot of people on Tik Tok made it seem like you have to tap the Apple logo, but that is incorrect, you can tap anywhere on the back. To enable Back Tap, all you have to do is go in to your settings, then go to accessibility, then touch, and if you scroll to the bottom and you will see Back Tap. Samsung: 1) The traditional way on Samsung devices is to hold the volume down and the side key. 2) Edge Panel- this is my favorite way on Samsung devices because it gives you a few options and can even make Gifs. Super helpful if you like to make memes. 3) Palm Swipe- so palm swipe is pretty old now, but most people don't know that it exists. All you have to do is swipe your palm from side to side, and it'll take a screenshot. I believe this is on by default, but if not, you can enable it in settings. 4) S-pen- This is exclusive to the Note series (perhaps it's on the S21 as well), but in the S-pen menu has two options for you. It has a short cut to Smart Select, as well as an even quicker shortcut for making a note by selecting Screen Write.
