The surrounding reefs and rock islands form strong rip currents, so know your exit plans if you’re pushing out the back or going for longer tacks. You’ll find peak action on a rising tide with NE wind wrapping into the beach at a slight cross-on angle. Early mornings can be glassy and wingfoiling is absolutely doable if you’re experienced, though the shore dump on some days makes launching a mission.
