So after a long trek through Allucaneet's forest, Musashi makes it to Spiral Tower. The problem? There is no tower! The note Musashi got from the castle reads: "THE PATH WILL NOT OPEN UNLESS YOU SACRIFICE A WARRIOR." You have to travel around that area to destroy the warrior statues that are linking themselves to each other with electricity, and while you're doing that, the massive evil-looking head in the middle of the area is raining mines right under your feet. Destroying each of the four statues reveals a button of some sort. Step on all four of them to unlock the tower and make it rise high into the sky, then wind your way up the tower while avoiding rolling stones and spiked logs until you find the entrance. -------------- It's kinda dark inside the tower, but then Musashi reads more of his note: "WHEN THE GUARDIAN FLAME IS BLANKETED WITH DARKNESS, A LIGHT WILL LEAD YOU ABOVE." He doesn't think about it too much and just rolls with it. So keep spiraling up the tower from the inside while slashing your way through any soldiers and bats in your way. During the climb, he finds a massive bell hanging above a massive torch. Suddenly that note makes more sense! So if you used Assimilate to gain Gunshot, keep climbing the tower until you're high enough to shoot that bell's rope. It'll be daylight outside once you do. -------------- Musashi gets teleported to the tower's roof. He can finally get Lumina! Almost... That statue head makes a barrier around Lumina to protect it. Someone needs to stand on the plate nearby to free it, but it can't be you. That's when you need to learn to pick one of those red soldiers up, throw them pass the plate, then let him walk over the plate while you're next to the barrier. Congrats! You should now have Lumina! Now you need to get off the tower, but then the statue head gets angry and shoots off the bridge you're standing on. He then proceeds to chase after you DOWN the tower and all the way through the pass in the forest you just went through. Just keep running and don't forget t- "Woah! JUMP!!!" -------------- To get back inside Allucaneet Palace, Musashi simply just crashes through. He finds Princess Fillet robbed by a masked redneck called Rootrick, an elite member of the Thirstquencher Empire. He won't let Fillet go unless Musashi gives him Lumina. Then he tricks Musashi into a wall of flames. That's where he learns the Lumina Rotation: A charged spinning slash with Lumina that does high damage around him. -------------- So then Musashi puts out the flames, ready to fight Rootrick, but then Rootrick knocks out Fillet and leaves with her, leaving something behind for Musashi to "play" with. It's the Steam Knight! To fight this boss, you first have to break his legs, piece-by-piece, forcing him to rest and making a bit of bincho crystal stick out of him. Damage him by hitting it until his health is gone. That'll force him back to the end of the hall, and then Musashi can pick him up and throw him out of it, Kid Goku style. The 2nd phase of this battle is about the same, except the Steam Knight might throw stone pillars at you. The 3rd and last phase has him jumping high into the air to stomp on you, and even use his wrecking ball to destroy some houses nearby. The only way you can hit his crystal is after he lands from his jump attack. Knock his health down one last time then Musashi can throw him through a wall of a cliff. -------------- The Steam Knight gains back some of his health, but then Musashi picks up the wrecking ball he just dropped, and finishes him off once and for all. Musashi then has to wonder where Rootrick took Princess Fillet, but then, without a second thought, the poor little guy passes out. You'd probably faint, too, if YOU have to lift AND throw 100 Ton robots and their wrecking balls over your head. Like I said, this Musashi is like Kid Goku! Afterwards, you can save your progress, for now the main course of the game can finally begin...
