You will need to use Gator's hook and loop sanding tool to get the most from these sheets. But once you hook up (no pun intended) the combination is unbeatable. The paper locks onto the sanding tool just like velcro. It is just as simple to remove the sheets and replace them with a different grain or a new sheet of the same grain. Can't say much about the AlumiNext technology other than the sheets feel more supple and smoother than regular sand paper. So far, the paper performs as expected and the tool makes hand sanding a more comfortable and precise operation.
