Our latest Unspeakable Bits webinar is about the sensitive topic of "Neglect, abuse, Coercive Control and MS" and our host Trevis Gleason was joined by an expert panel of Patricia Rickard-Clarke, Chair, Safeguarding Ireland and Tim Hanley, General Manager of the HSE Safeguarding Office. Some people with MS can find themselves vulnerable to acts of abuse and neglect. Be they physical, financial, verbal, emotional, or coercive control, these are unfortunate but real circumstances in which people with MS can find themselves. Along with mental health and safeguarding specialists, we delved into this dark reality to help you to find your way out or recognize neglect and abuse if they come into your life.
