The villa itself was absolutely beautiful. Peaceful, quiet, and completely immersed in the jungle. But there was just one small problem. We are both terrified of bugs. Over the next few days we slowly realised that living in the jungle means sharing your space with… well… the jungle. From tiny creatures appearing out of nowhere to nighttime sounds we couldn't quite identify, we spent the first couple of nights slightly convinced we might not survive. Eventually we learned to embrace the chaos, surrender to the bugs at night, and enjoy the daylight when everything felt a little less intimidating. And honestly? It ended up being one of the most memorable parts of our trip.
